What is a
there are three different types of paramedics: there is the Primary-care Paramedic, Advance-care Paramedic and Critical-care Paramedic but each of them mainly respond to "911" emergencies
As a paramedic, your primary job is to respond to "911" emergancies however, you my be responsable for:
Transporting patients to different hospitals
making sure the ambulance is ready for the next patient and crew
Because of this, there are a variety of times you are working, one day you can be working early in the morning and the next late at night
for P1 or primary-care paramedics the average wage is between $60,000 to $95,000
A P2 or Advanced-Care paramedic can make between $75,000 to $100,000
And a P3 or Critical-Care paramedic makes the most money from $100,000 to $150,000
Most Colleges in Ontario have a paramedics program and these programs are around 2-3 years depending on the school and require high school University chemistry Grade 11 and 12
after the program, each student has to write the A-EMCA or Advanced Emergancy Medical Care Assistant exam And pass in order to become a paramedic
Why Paramedics are important
Paramedics are an essential industry because they are first responders to accidents, and crime scene and without them many victims would die
