This book had a variety of locations. In the beginning of the story, there was a village called "The Shire" and this place was mostly populated with hobbits. The secondary location was "Elrond Rivendell", this was one of the places in middle earth whereas beautiful elves lived. The third place was a passage through the "Misty Mountains", that the group of this quest had to pass by to get to another destination which was "Carrock". The Fourth was a skin-changer's wooden house, this was the place where they got supplies and food before entering "Mirkwood" forest (a forest that has been growing ill and dangerous). The fifth location was the "ElvenKing's Halls", this was one of the places where they were captured and detained for a long time . The sixth location was "Long Lake Esgaroth", a village of men, woman and children. Their final destination was "The Lonely Mountain", which was the city of Erebor, a long lost city that belonged to the king under the mountain! This home was taken by smaug the chiefest and greatest of calamities
Gandalf, Bilbo, Thorin, Gloin, Oin, Dori, Nori, Ori, Balin, Dwalin, Bofur, Bifur, Bombur, Fili, & Kili
Ori and Oin wore purple coats, Nori wore a grey hood, Gloin wore a brown coat, and Dori wore white. They all wore something with silver and gold. They eat giant meals for their sizes. These were also dwarves that followed thorin.
Dwalin and Balin
Dwalin has a blue beard tucked into his golden belt and he has bright eyes underneath his usual dark-green hood.
Balin wore a red coat and also had a long white beard
Bofur, Bifur, Bumbor
Bofur is the nicest dwarf in the group. He was more of a silly character. Bifur is more of a quiet dwarf with a long gray beard.
Bumbor is the chubbiest dwarf in the group and is incredibly heavy. He loves to eat and his friends laugh with him when he eats more than he needs to.
Dwalin wore a dark-green hood that usually hid his bright eyes and tucked his blue beard into his golden belt. Balin on the other hand was old, had a long white beard, and wore a scarlet hood.
Balin & Dwalin
Gloin, Oin, Ori, Nori, & Dori
Fili & Kili
Fili and kili wore blue hoods, silver belts, and had yellow beards. They both usually carried more often and did more tasks because they were the youngest dwarves of the group.
Main conflict
This group faces many complications on the way to their destination. The most important conflict is when smaug, a large fierce dragon, took over the Dwarf kingdom along with all of its treasures and possessions.
Smaug is killed by Bard. A man with the kin from Girion, Lord of Dale.
The Moral theme of this story is that one must appreciate the little things in life.
Don't underestimate others because they can surprise you
