Transcript of Anatomy of a Leader

Passion

Every great leader has to be passionate. If you are not passionate for what you believe in then you will never achieve your goal. Whether you are leading a small group of people or a whole movement if you are not passionate toward the situation then the people you are trying to lead will not be as passionate either.
Hitler
Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was one of Americas greatest leaders. He led the Equal Rights Movement to try and get equal rights for African Americans. This movement took a lot of passion because he had to get a whole ethnicity of people on his side, which takes a lot of work. If he did not have the passion to lead this, today African Americans may still be fighting for their rights. Our life would be very different from today because everything would still be segregated. Also, we would be living in one country, but it would feel like one society overpowering the other. If Martin Luther King Jr. was not passionate just imagine what the United States would be like today.
In his own sense Hitler was a great leader. He led the Genocide movement behind the world while fighting against the world. It took a lot of passion to lead the movement, if he did not stay passionate then all the Nazi's would start to question his authority, what would have stopped them from sharing his secret. Hitler was a very passionate leader.

Courage

Courage is one of the most important traits a leader must possess. A leader must have mental and moral strength to carry out their tasks. You have to be able to stand up for what you believe in even if it goes against the popular belief. Some examples of leaders with courage include Amelia Earhart and George Washington.
George Washington
" No danger is to be considered when put in competition with the magnitude of the cause."
"It's better to be alone than in bad company."
"It's better to offer no excuse than a bad one."
Amelia Earhart
