Animators Salary Varies on employer/ industry
$25,000 to 35,000 for beginning and assistant animators
-$35,000 to 60,000 for Storyboard Artist/ Layout Artist/ Animator
-$50,000 to 75,000 annually for a Senior or Lead Animator Working Conditions Advertising agencies
Film companies
Television companies
Animation production Companies
Self-employed freelancers -design studios

- well-lit, clean, and comfortable spaces

-working at design boards Hours - generally 40 hours week

-•Some work as many as 60 hours

-Often work overtime to meet deadlines

-•Can set their own hours if self-employed Job Description -draw a series of images that are filmed

-Usually responsible for only one aspect of the animation - 10 — 30 pages of sketches for each second of animation

-Test characters’ motions by flipping through pages
Pinpoints which sequences are working/ which need fixing - synchronize lip movements and expressions of characters with the recordings of the voice actors -final animation drawings are traced onto cels and painted - Character cels are put on top of the background cels
