WHAT IM GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT:
Today I'm going to be talking my book, what it's about and why you guys should read it.
The book is on Roman Mythology instead of Greek so instead of Zeus for example, it's Jupiter. The book has a lot of action and adventures in it. There's a lot of roman myths in it and you could learn a lot from it. I think it's a cool book because it has lots of different genres in it. For example: sometimes its about friendship, other times its about love. Sometimes its about comedy and other times its all about trust. IN THIS BOOK, MYTHOLOGY AND REALITY COLLIDE IN A NEW LEGEND!
What the book is about:

THE MAIN AND IMPORTANT CHARACTERS IN THE STORY:
The main character is Emily. She's just a 13-year old girl but when Pegasus crashes on her roof, her life becomes a LEGEND. From epic battles to desperate chases. From finding trust to finding the special connections with those special people. In this book, Emily learns what being a true friend means like. She learns that the most important thing you need is trust. Emily gets a special connection with Pegasus and she loves him so much that she was willing to die just for him. But when war on Olympus has come down to New York City, her life becomes an adventure and she must join Pegasus to save Olympus before the flame is extinguished...... FOREVER!
EMILY:
Another main character is Joel. He was the first person Emily told about Pegasus because she knew she could trust him. Sadly, he's a foster child but one thing that makes him happy is Pegasus. He knows all about Pegasus and Roman myths. Joel can be hard to predict sometimes. One moment he's mean, next moment he's nice. Along the way, Emily and Joel have a special friendship. He's very caring about Emily and very protective. He always puts Emily before him and makes sure she's okay. Joel taught me that without true friends, life isn't worth it.
Joel:
A very important character is Paelan. Paelan plays a very important part in this story. He is the Olympian of thieves. At the beginning, he was very selfish. He could have saved lots of lives but he chose not to. When he crashed into New York City, he was first taken to the hospital but then after he was taken to the CRU to be questioned. Paelan has a very special ability that other Olympians don't have. Paelan was very selfish at the beginning but in the end, he was the reason everyone lived. He taught me that your choices make you who you are.
Paelan:
The monsters in the book are Nirads. They are four-armed monsters who are very strong, have a horrible stench and have three eyes. They've killed lots of Olympians and they can only be killed with a special gold. All is hopeless when they come down to earth but in the end, it was the power of friendship who conquered them.
Nirads:
Last but not least, Pegasus. All is hopeless when Pegasus almost dies when he crashed on Emily's roof but Emily's kindness saved him. Pegasus himself cannot talk but he can understand humans. Pegasus gets a special connection with Emily. He was almost going to die but Emily's presence somehow made him stronger. All he cared about was keeping Emily safe. Pegasus taught me that some friends can be worth dying for.
Pegasus:
HERE ARE SOME PASSAGES FROM THE BOOK THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO HEAR:
PEGASUS and the flame
Kate O'hearn
Part 3 of Novel Study report
REVIEWS ON THE BOOK:
"Much to love"
Rick Riordan, author of Percy Jackson
"A magical and mighty read"
Julia Eccleshare, Lovereading4kids
"It is such an amazing book"
Grace Lu
AND THERE ARE MANY MORE.
BOOKS WITH SERIES:
If you like books with series, then Pegasus and the flame is a perfect book for you. So if you liked the first book, then the fun doesn't stop there because there's also: Pegasus and the fight for Olympus, Pegasus and the new Olympians and Pegasus and the origins of Olympus.
I have not read them myself but I am planning to.
This book has taught me a lot of things after reading it. Some parts touch my heart and other parts brought me to the edge of my seat.
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY PRESENTATION. I HOPE YOU MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND READ THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
