The goal of the Ewald Circle Oakman Sphere Project or ECOsphere is to construct a community wireless mesh network to serve as a primary component of our digital ecosystem.
Our Block was constructed by the son of Robert Oakman, the original owner and developer of the Oakman Subdivision which included Ewald Circle. The stones and bricks used in construction of our townhomes were specially imported by Oakman. The building we live in was the first of the two multi-dwelling structures started before the stock market crash of 1929.
