Couplet Poetry Background Of Couplet Poetry By:

Abriam Jason Originated in Greece, but written in the language of Latin love, dating back to the third century, 3B.C.

It was feared.
A man named Plato a famous philosopher felt that poets, were dangerous because people might actually listen to them and take their views seriously. especially couplets since they were one of the strongest poetic styles of the century. Definition.

Couplet's can be meant for almost two things.
1st - A unit of verse consisting of two successive lines, usually rhyming and having the same meter and often forming a complete thought or syntactic unit.

2nd -Two similar things; a pair. An Original Piece.

William Shakespeare Born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. He was famous for his poetic mind. Some say he was a fraud, some say an utter genius. He Wrote an Original poem, a Couplet.

Example; "But if thou live remembered not to be,Die single and thine image dies with thee." And Now Couplets Of Our Own!
