He died when Robert was 3 years old Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell B-P was a very creative boy with a lot of humour He was born the 22nd of February 1857 B-P ind the army He was many years ind the army.
When he was 18 years old, he went to India 2 times.
He was placed in Balkan, South Africa and Malta.
He retired from the army in 1910. B-P write the book "Scouting for boys" King Edward the 7. personally asked B-P, if he would work on the scout idea. Was in 1907 in Brownsea Island The first scout camp Charterhouse The green surroundings of the Charterhouse school inspired B-P, when he created the scout movement He got his title "Lord" on the 3nd world scout jamboree They got merried in 1912, and she got the name "Olave Baden Pawell" Olave Clair Soames She was born in 1889 They got 3 kids: Peter, Heather and Betty Lady Olave Baden Powell was later known as World chief guide Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell dead B-P died when he was 83 years old He is buried in Nyeri On the tombstone is written: Robert Baden Powell, Chief Scout of the World In 1909 the first men began the scout work in Denmark Danish scouts One year after, the KFUM and Det danske Spejderkorps was created Kirsten
