My Design Brief
Client: Hilary Rider, Owner of a stationery company
Client Needs: A new logo and a 2 point perspective.
Target Audience: Directed towards adults in working-middle class. Who have an interest in stationery, art and design.
Constraints and Considerations: The design must reflect the brands interest in sustainability and while considering the style and appearance of the design.
Elements and principles:
Media, Materials and Methods
Watercolour pencil and palette, Pastels, Crayon, Photoshop, Pencil
Card, Paper, Metal
Isometric Drawings, 1 and 2 Point Perspective Drawings, Computer, Visualisation Drawings
Generation of Ideas
Generated a collection of ideas
Sketched shapes and forms that reflect stationery
Worked with the visual image of the word 'Ecograph'
Successfully suits the client needs and purpose and context
Audience is demonstrated through the washed earthy colours chosen in collaboration with the cursive type
Definitely depicts the name Ecograph in a creative manner
The image is quite original
Logo without type was produced to allow the design to be transferable onto possible products ie. pencil
The storefront clearly demonstrates the purpose and context stated in the brief
The depiction of materials and forms reflect the artistic target audience
Constructing with recycled wood highlights the brands interest in sustainability
Design of shopfront is engaging while also promoting products through the window

Tweaking main ideas to enhance their effectiveness
Addressing and emphasising elements and principles
Trialling multiple methods and media
Investigated pre-existing logos and shopfront designs.
Interviewed possible audience members to research the most successful logos
Analysed articles to find ways to display brand identity and product advertisement.
