Transcript of Spot Color Presentation

Scope Epson Spot Color Matching Scope The purpose of this project was to test the effectiveness of the “visual shotgun” method compared to using colormetric data from Propalette for producing spot colors accurately on the Epson 4880.
Testing was completed using ESKO software version 7 release 5.
The main process to be tested was using Propalette to measure the output from the Epson and adjust the inputs in Kaleidoscope until the colors matched in Propalette to our target delta E.
During the testing a target dE was established as .5 dE.
We chose six drawdown samples from recent formulations to test.
