St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic School My Work Placement The Personal Management & Employability Skills/Knowledge That I Acquired Connections Between School Related Course and Work At My Placement Education and Career Information It was significant to me because i wasn't rushed learning how to use Esis and other office equipment. I was able to learn at a good pace, do interesting tasks, get to know the kids/teachers and have fun at my co-op placement. The most significant part of my Cooperative Education experience was getting hands on experience in a job that I am interested in doing and getting the skills like using Esis that I need to know how to use in this field on employment. Something that had the most impact on me is being able to learn have a great experience in a welcoming and friendly environment. How I used this skill at my placement: I used this skill at my placement by focusing my attention on tasks that needed it most, ex. answering the phone, I had to focus all my attention on the caller and how I could help them or when I had a lot of files to organize I had to keep myself on track. How I used this skill at my placement: I used this skill at my placement by typing, inserting information and researching information regarding addresses and telephone numbers of students previous schools. Training skills:
A person could apply and use this skill at different jobs because you can help train someone so show them how to do something safely and properly.

Recently at my placement I trained a supply secretary by showing her how to work the pager/other office essentials Transferable Skills Multi task skills:
A person could apply and use this skill at a different job because you might always need to multi task putting something away and speaking to someone,
if you're working in a store this comes in handy when putting something away and thinking about the answer for the person.
I do this at my placement by multi tasking zipping up coats and lining kindergartners up. Area of Learning:

If I were to continue work I would need to get better at running reports, printing off daily/ weekly reports and faxing weekly reports. Requirements:
requirements vary depending on the employer and position. many office administrative positions require a high school diploma and strong typing/word processing skills. For the higher paying jobs in large organizations, you need to complete a college-level program in office administration or a related field.
