A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away...
...no one had the patience for
endless backstory
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way--in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
2. Keep sh*t

5.206 - Beginning a sentence with a conjunction
There is a widespread belief—
one with no historical or grammatical foundation
—that it is an error to begin a sentence with a conjunction such as and, but, or so. In fact, a substantial percentage (often as many as 10 percent) of the sentences in
first-rate writing
begin with conjunctions. It has been so for centuries, and even the most conservative grammarians have followed this practice.

We shall
go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall
fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall
fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall
fight on the beaches,
we shall
fight on the landing grounds,
we shall
fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall
fight in the hills;
we shall
never surrender,
We shall go on to the end, fighting in France, on the seas and oceans, and in the air.
We shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, on the beaches, on the landing grounds, in the fields and streets, and in the hills.
We shall never surrender
