Al-Biruni is the founder of trigonometry. Trigonometry is the study of triangles.
In the history of math,mathematics in medivial Islam , or called Islamic mathemaris covers the math advanced under the islamic civilization in cicra 662 and c.1600. Islamic science and math have a lot in common.Islamic math was fully made with place values,number systems, and have decimal fractions.Islamic mathematicians thought geometry and algebra was the same studies but soon a famous mathmetican (Euclid)found out it wasn't.
Yahya ibn Adi translated a lot of Greek philosophy into Arabic, mostly from existing versions in Syriac.He also made some philosophical and theological important findings.He taught a lot of famous philosophers , including Ibn Miskawayh, Ibn al-Khammar and Ibn Zura.
