Jesus Last 7 Sayings on the Cross
1."Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Luke 23:34
2."I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43
3.When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother."
4. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”) Matthew 27:46 & Mark 15:34 (Psalm 22)
5. Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” John 19:28 (Psalm 69:21)
6. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. John 19:30 (John 10:18)
7.Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. Luke 23:46 (Psalm 31:5)

Gideon was an unlikely judge for Israel. He trusted God and needed reassurance from God, but eventually using only 300 men defeated the thousands of Midianite people who had invaded the promised land. (Judges Ch 6-8)

Deborah was a prophetess and was leading Israel at a time when they'd been under cruel oppression for 20 years. She told Barak that God commanded him to take 10,000 men and He would give the enemy into his hands. Barak wouldn't go without Deborah, and because of this it says God handed Sisera over to a woman. (Judges ch 4 & 5).
Luke's gospel is a written account of what happened during Jesus' time on earth. This account has more of an emphasis on evidential proof of Jesus when compared to the other three as Luke had studied carefully in order to show us that what had been taught was (and still is) true. Luke is considered the most detailed of all four gospels with the likes of Jesus' childhood included (Luke 2), the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10) and the Prodigal Son story. Luke is also the longest book of the new testament with 1,151 verses; you can certainly tell that Luke was a doctor!
