Holidays are celebrated around the world in many different ways!
French Decorations

France, Germany, Australia , Israel
In this presentation we will be talking about how the following countries and how they celebrate the holidays.

Foods in France:
-Dinner- Their Christmas dinner is called Réveillon
Dessert- a sponge cake called a bûche
People place their shoes by the fire place to get filled with goodies from Pere Noel( how they say Santa)
Adults always give their gifts on New Years not on Christmas

People in France love to decorate for the holidays some of their common decorations are:
The Nativity Scene
LOTS and LOTS of lights
Women wear
- white lase trim blouses and aprons decorated with flowers all over.
Men wear-
brimmed hats, waistcoats(vests) and sometimes short jackets .
Popular French Christmas songs:
Petit Papa Noel is a popular French Christmas song. The song name means "Little Father Christmas". In fact it is as popular as the song " Jingle Bells".

Men and women would all wear whatever they wish for ! ( Australians would wear shorts sleeves and shorts . ) People would go to the beach a lot in Christmas .
