Transcript: Projection By:Amanda, Danielle, Mary Kate Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person unconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, or to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others have those feelings The movie "inception" has many examples of projection. Dreams are used all throughout this movie to get information out of people. Leonardo DiCaprio and his team go into dreams and have the goal of getting people to project certain things into these dreams. example 2 pic example 2 explanation example 3 pic example 3 explanation What is projection?

If the test is a low result, the patient is labeled of contracting osteoporosis. Identification Results of This Results There are long term effects and short term effects straining from this disease The singular short term effect is a high fracture rate that can happen from coughing, bending over, a mild fall or mild stresses. The long term effects are as stated- muscle spasms, continuous back pain and curvature of spine- which creates height loss and bad posture Step 1 To put this disease into simple terms- this is typically a hereditary disease that reduces the mass of bones which results in less red blood cells and most importantly, reduced bone mass which makes the bone structure less compact and brittle where even a small action can cause sever damage. It most commonly affects bones around the spine, hips, ribs and wrists. The Basics Fun Facts Osteoporosis-2 Fun Facts! Facts -This specific disease mainly effects women, espically those of either Asian Or Caucasian herritage. -Over 80% of all fractures in people above age 50 and above are caused by osteoporosis - No single cause for osteoporosis had been indentified to this date Achilles Rupture-1 Achilles Rupture-1 The Basics To break it down into simpler terms, this is an injury that is HIGHLY painful and is a tendon that connects your back heel bone to your calf. It can affect your ability to walk properly. The two muscles affects are the gastrocnemius and sloeus muscles. There is normal bone structure still and the bone is straight. You can still walk after the injury, feet aren't affected. Lastly, there is a lot of inflamation around the injury. The Basics Effects In the issue of the Achilles Rupture situation, there are a few after effects. There are two short term ones involving muscle weakness, espically around the Achilles tendon and scarring. There is only one long term effect that stick with the injured person throughout their life. The effect is that the tendon is more likely to be ruptured in the future. Long and Short Term Effects How doctors identify the problem Scientists typically identify the situation by either putting the patient through an UltraSound or a MRI Identification Achilles Rupture-2 Achilles Rupture-2 (Fun Facts are Conclusion) conclusion Fun Facts -Achilles Ruptures are 3.5 times more likely to occur with males rather than females -The diagnosis is made by MRI or ultrasound - Typically occure when there is sudden movement in the wrong direction when the foot is fixed firmly on the ground.
