I was fortunate enough to not be developmentally impacted by my premature birth, but the more I research, the more I believe my eating habits have been impacted. bulimia nervosa: an eating disorder where the main feature is binge eating followed by unhealthy behaviors to compensate for such binge eating in order to prevent weight gain (e.g., purging). neurological problems/ developmental delays vision problems Premature Birth Complications Prematurity: A premature infant is born before 37 weeks gestation.
