Transcript: Get into your groups and each of you will make your martinis! Everyone in the group must have their martini complete using all of the ingredients! Tools Used to make martini in front of you is a glass (blue or green) thats your team! blue versus the green team! Arnold Palmer Martini !! Bartending is all about speed as well as efficiency! A great bartender knows their way around the bar without having to look at their surroundings. They also know how to pour the perfect amount of liquor and other ingredients every time! It helps to recognize a pour just by sight. 2 oz. tea vodka ( we make in house) 1.5 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice 1 oz. simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water) Garnished with a lemon 2 oz. black tea "vodka" EFFICIENCY!! Useful Tips: *Carry a tray that has more than eight glasses or bottles on it with your forearm and hand. Carry a tray with fewer than eight bottles and glasses on it with your wrist and hand. *Hold the tray within the torso region of your body between your belly button and breast bone. Never hold a tray at or above your shoulders. * Relax your shoulder at a natural angle. Never stretch your shoulder away from your body. You are now familiar with our signature martini...and how to properly construct and execute it ! NOW THE FUN BEGINS... * tea vodka: Loose strained black tea in a 1 Liter bottle of Kettle One.... Let sit for 12-24 hours and then strain. 2 oz. tea vodka 1.5 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice 1 oz. simple syrup Demonstration 1.5 oz. lemon juice Congratulations! Presented by: Kaylee Manssuer, Alex Giguere, Logan Spradling and Zack Leiner martini glass This recipe calls for 2 oz of the tea vodka... approximately 2 shot glasses full ( A shot glass is usually 1 oz) Place all of your ingredients into the mixing tin of the shaker, or "jigger" .Next you are going to fill your shaker until it is 2/3 full of ice. Place the lid on top of the shaker, then place the smaller lid on top, sealing it tightly. Once you have it securely on, shake well. Shake until the outside of the shaker begins to condensate. Remove the top lid from your shaker and strain into the martini glass. The freshly squeezed lemon juice would be 1 1/2 shot glasses full, Tiburon Country Club Signature Martini Training Shaker The Simple Syrup would be a single shot glass full. Not only is it important to properly make a martini... you must know how to SERVE a martini. Presentation is everything. You can't show up to your guests' table with half of their drink spilled out!! Now it's your turn Martini breakdown 1 oz. simple syrup You have all been hired to work as bartenders at Tiburon Country Club! We are so excited to have you apart of our team!
