Transcript: Board Game Design By: Emily M History Introduction -certain games were invented because the creator wanted the players to learn from it -the game would sometimes have to do with the inventor's life/ life experiences interesting Facts clue Created by Anthony Pratt invented during World War II (around 1949) interesting Facts the inventor was a piano player at murder mystery parties, which is how he got the idea he also worked in an ammunition factory, which is how he got the idea for all the weapons in the game game evaluation Summary of Clue: The game can be played with a maximum of 6 players. Each player picks a character. From there, players roll the dice to move around the board. Whatever you roll is how many spaces you move. As you play, try to eliminate players on your sheet to figure out who was guilty, in what room, with what weapon. Game Evaluation Overall Rating Overall rating 1 4 3 2 5 Why? There were some things I liked about Clue and some things I didn't. There were strategies involved in the game that would not be suitable for some players, or young players. Also, the space in between turns is long, and it can take a long time to finish the whole game. Although, the game board and characters are appealing, and the board and pieces sizes were perfect. The concept of the game is interesting and different from other games. Therefore, I would rate clue a 4/5.
