Inauguration The Right To Vote Inauguration parades Presidnetial Inaugurals are public holidays when all americans can celebrate our decromatic customs and creed.Also Inuagurals promote nation unity yet provide an occasion for partsan gloating. An Inuagural Parade is when the president arrives at the capital to take the oath of office,everything he does will be analyzed by the public and the press. The Oath Of Office I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President Of United States, and will do the best of my ability,preserve,protect,and defend the constitution of the United States. Celebrations The Inuagural Celebrations started as affrairs,but then grew into many distinct festivals. They called these celebrations "the ball".Many proclaim that the celebrations were for the newly instated political elite. In the early 1800's only white men who had property were allowed to vote,but later on the years women,african american,and young adults protested and fought for their right to vote.By the the year 1971 mostly everybody was allowed to vote.
