Within the white stripe there are five blue stars in the shape of an "X". The stars represent the members of the Federal Republic of Central America. The blue stripes are the representations for the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Location The Honduras are in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. The countries near Honduras are Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. Currency To take a trip to the Honduras and use Delta airlines it will cost $1,013.50. While you are there you can scuba dive, zip line, go to resturants, and stay at a hotel.If yo want to go to see wonderful wildlife and nice beaches you can go to La Cieba. Another area that would be great if you want to see the colonial part of Hondura you could go to Omoa where there are fortresses of where the Spanish were protected from them from the British Pirates. One other place to visit in hondura is La Esperanza. here you can drive through some of the most beautiful scenery that there is in all of Hondura. Pupusas are dough filled with cheese, cilantro, salt and pepper and are folded over to create a pocket.
