Transcript of Understanding Prezi
Powerpoint" This is Powerpoint Stuck in a linear mode
(the slides) Think of Prezi as a virtual whiteboard It helps transform presentations into a conversation with the audience Prezi uses technology to move around in a different way This is Prezi Using a non-linear system It gives you full control of a large canvas or whiteboard Shows the viewer a new perspective of used space Good luck with... How does Prezi work? You want to get to the Prezi website Then you have to sign up Once you have an account, log in Click on New Prezi Then choose your template I chose a blank one for the example This box allows you to create frames, arrows, lines, and use a highlighter This one lets you insert images from Google, symbols and objects from prezi, multiple frames already placed, youtube videos, background music, and some of your files. It allows you to put certain objects from your presentations into your collection so you can recreate them in other ones and has a handy tool of prezifying old powerpoints. You can change your template, change your theme, or customize it in this box Here you can change your background color if it's blank and upload an image as your template The next page will let you change the colors of the writing Then there is the page allowing you to change the colors of the frames and other items Prezi has the ability To turn Zoom And travel Across the canvas Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Prezi Can tell a story Project a message Uses a canvas Zooms New Is a great way of explaining ideas Powerpoint Traditional Easy Slides Storytelling Boring Too many tools Projecting a message Nausea Created by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai in 2009
