South Korea followed in the footsteps of Japan and rapidly industrialized by having a large labor force that is willing to work cheaply.
South Korean industry remarkably developed under Park Chung-hee's leadership by shifting focus on export-oriented industrialization.
With this, South Korea claimed success with companies such as Samsung and LG.
