Due : April 10, 2011 What kind of diseases are young children vulnerable to ? Why are children more vulnerable to disease?
Younger children explore their surroundings by touching things and placing their hands and objects into their mouths. Their immunity to illnesses is also less developed than older children and they haven't had enough exposure to different pathogens to develop immunity to various strains of viruses.
molecular structures of medicines Leukemia - the most common type of cancer kids get, but it is still very rare. Brain Cancer - A brain tumor is a group or clump of abnormally growing cells that can be found in or on the brain. Lymphoma - is a general term for a group of cancers that start in the body's lymphatic system. Osteosarcoma - is the most common type of bone cancer. Ewing's Sarcoma - Another type of cancer that affects the bone is Ewing's sarcoma. It is similar to osteosarcoma in that it also affects teens and young adults and is usually located in the leg or pelvis.
