Korean food is similar to Japanese and Chinese, they all eat rice daily, but there is a dish that is unique to Korea that is called kimchi, which is pickled vegetables also eaten daily. Lots of teenagers are interested in pizza and Coke, but they will always have prawn crackers. Most food in South Korea is traditional and organic, but not as
much in Australia.

Birds Korea is an environmental charity that is dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats
The shapes on the South Korean flag mean opposites, in the middle is the yin yang, which means dark and light or good and evil
Korea is one of the few countries to maintain a single ethnic group by defeating all foreign invasions throughout history, South Koreans have developed a unique culture that has been going on for over 5000 years.
Chong Chul Rhee
Master Chong Chul Rhee was born in South Korea in 1935 and is known as 'The Father of Australian Taekwon-Do' for bringing the martial art to Australia in the 1960's. He holds the title 'World Master' and is one of the 12 original masters of Taekwon-Do. He now lives in Sydney and his rank in Taekwon-Do is Black belt 8th dan. His two brothers are now leaders for Taekwon-Do in Britain and America.
