Meet Blake. He liked to daydream about impacting the way the world experienced music.
This cover letter is meant to be an entertaining look at how a deep love of music and a knack for storytelling made Blake the perfect fit for the Spotify team as it’s Global Brand Manager.

Blake leverages purposeful communication to effectively work alongside colleagues and lead cross-functional teams, producing insight-driven concepts from brief to execution.
Through experiences working with brand partners such as Zumba, Clif Bar, and Timex, Blake has fostered a firm grasp on the inner workings of successful brand narratives through the implementation of team guidelines and processes that articulate brand messaging with consistency.
Blake's philosophy was that the most effective way to communicate with consumers is by engaging them in a two-way conversation, unlike that of traditional advertising. A successful approach is reliant upon the ability to proactively understand brand vision, along with consumer, cultural, and audience insights to develop globalized content across multiple mediums.
