Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge
(A Beneficial Tool)
When using technology, teachers should consider it only a support and not the actual way the students will understand content. Overall it helps DELIVER the lesson, and there are a ton of different ways to do so.

Power Point

What Is TPACK?
TPACK stands for technological pedagogical knowledge. It is a framework used by teachers to enhance how they perform in a class room as well as their skills in using technology.
It was also created to make content more accessible by students.

TPACK framework and knowledge components

Another Explanation
Here is a video that discusses TPACK. It's another great example.
The content can be identified as the subject that is being taught in the class room.
TPACK consists of three knowledge areas. These include technological, content, and pedagogical knowledge (as the name states).
Combing All the Knowledge
What is Pedagogy?
A lot of people don't know what pedagogy means. It simply means the method or practice of teaching.
Technological Pedagogical
Knowledge: Knowing the pros and cons of using technology while teaching, and
making the content more accessible to students.

Content Knowledge:
Knowledge about technology and how it may be used to teach content.

Pedagogical Content Knowledge:
The process of making the content easy to understand to learners.

When it comes down to it, TPACK is essential to how a teacher implements their curriculum.
The center of TPACK describes the entire dynamic that it was created for in the first place. It's the combination of all three of the kinds of knowledge (technological, content, and pedagogical).
Integrating each kind of knowledge makes the practice of teaching more effective.
