Transcript of How to play 'Cross the Line'.

'Cross the Line' is a game which involves two teams, with five people in each team. This game requires no apparatus. The advantage of this game is that you can play it indoors and outdoors, as long as you have a large space. An important element of the game is the line which is drawn between the two teams and the aim of the game is to cross the line. You can bring your team to glorious victory by touching a person on the opposing team and making it back over the line. How to play 'Cross the Line'. Next, each team must decide the order of play, so that
it is clear who goes first, second, third, fourth and fifth. This is to avoid confusion during the game and prepares the team members for their turn. Having decided the teams and order of play, now each team needs to stand opposite each other with the line between them. The first person from the first team steps up to the line and tries to cross it to touch an opponent and return back over the line without being caught by any of the opposing team. Before long, somebody will be caught by their opponent. At this stage, their team members must support them by encouraging them to run back. Each member from both teams takes a turn to try and cross the line without getting caught. Once you are caught, you are out of the game. The team with the last person left standing wins. In conclusion, Cross the Line is a fun, yet competitive team game. It is important to be quick and agile when darting over the line into the other team's territory, but be careful...it is very easy to be caught. First, organise yourselves into two teams, ensuring you have five people in each team. However, it may be a good tactic to make sure there are a good spread of fast runners in each team, as they are going to be the stronger team members.
