EEG are a noninvasive way to look into your brain.
In our very first part of the project, we attempted to build such EEG machine, we simply wanted to detect and measure the brain waves. And mainly focus on Alpha and beta waves, the ones we could get by relaxation and focusing states.
And we wanted to transform these states into control signals, that we use to move stuff around.
start thinking about the tools
The first step in the gathering of EEG signals is to draw the voltages off of the surface of the scalp.
Don’t Forget to prepare your skin.
STAGE 1 - INSTRUMENTATION AMPLIFIER
It takes as its inputs 2 voltages, and outputs the difference between the two multiplied by some gain, G, we managed to have our gain of 89.2.
Then we build the entire filtering and processing units via software
STAGE 2 - 50 HZ NOTCH FILTER

• Brain sends orders to your hand muscles to contract.
• Ions of the nerves generate a very small voltage difference on your skin.
• We detect measure,
smooth and use this signal.
