A photo using the cropping strategy is one that cuts distracting elements out of the background, either by zooming in tightly on the subject or manually cropping the photo. A photo using the vantage point strategy is shot from a vantage point other than eye level. A photo with a non-distracting background has a background that is simple or blurred out to so that it doesn't distract from the main subject. A photo using the balancing elements strategy balances the visual "weight" of objects in the photo. The balance may be symmetrical or asymmetrical. http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photos/pod-best-wallpapers-of-2012/#/tigers-watering-hole-winter_47917_600x450.jpg http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photos/wildlife-photo-gallery/#/green-seal_6625_600x450.jpg http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/siesta-la-paz/ http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/woman-plaza-canada-pod/ http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/poppy-field-geneva/ Repetition and Pattern A photo using repetition and pattern utilizes repeating themes (shapes, objects, colors). http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/hot-air-balloons-bagan/ http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photos/pod-best-wallpapers-of-2012/#/flamingo-flock-nigge_56443_600x450.jpg http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photos/life-color-kaleidoscope/?source=hp_dl3_photography_kaleidoscope201320121107#/shipping-singapore-guariglia_60456_600x450.jpg http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photos/patterns-nature-reflections/#/sandhill-cranes-sartore_1516_600x450.jpg http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/abu-dhabi-photos/#/abu-dhabi-grand-mosque-interior_24940_600x450.jpg http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/intricate-window-agra-pod/
