…it’s our MISSION
and we need your assistance! Why We Do It –
Our veteran families carry the burdens of war for all Americans. We ease those wounds through encouragement, education and vision. Four weekly themes:
Week 1: Safety & Stability
Week 2: Taking Stock
Week 3: Engagement in Change
Week 4: Reconnect/Reintegrate 28-day evidence-based residency program
(Four 3-day weekends include family participation) “Warrior 2 Citizen is a well researched, designed and tested holistic healing program that ensures that America provides what is needed for returning veterans and their family members . . .

W2C is an opportunity for community stakeholders to invest and to do what is right and measurably save the lives of military family members”.

-BG (CH) John M. Owings (R) , Executive Director Warrior2Citizen is more than JUST a great idea . . .

We understand the Warrior’s needs and have developed a program that is predictable and measurable. W2C provides a 3-step reintegration process

An intensive, evidenced-based, 28-day, Warrior-focused, in-residence program that incorporates weekend family sessions;

One-year of evaluations and follow-up counseling;

Community-based network system of support. Every aspect of the veterans’ week and family’s weekend:
1. Is tailored to meet the needs of the participants,
2. Measures individual progress,
3. Is based on the most current therapeutic foundations. Clinical Program W2C with Georgia State University Case Management and Evaluation
W2C with Georgia State University and Georgia Tech Research Institute Eleven months of virtual counselor (Chaplain) and crisis response will continue upon completion of the 28-day program.

Pre-, During, Post-Program independent evaluations and measures will ensure “the delivery of best practice and measured value for the warrior family” and investors in the programs.

Program evaluation and development methodology will be used to continuously improve and measure outcomes and to scale the programs in other states. “About-Face Program” A Community-Based Network… The W2C Program has modules which are adaptable to local market channels (i.e., VFW, American Legion, Academic platforms, etc.).
