Before her death her fashion business brought in about $160 million a year.
She loved pockets most all her collection was pockets of some sort.
For Chanel's career to be successful she had to have traits like creativity, uniqueness, passion, and she had to be able to think outside the box. She obviously had all of these and her company became very successful. She had to be able to think outside the box and be unique so her ideas weren't the same as other peoples ideas. Having creativity and passion for what she is doing will help her stand out from the others!
Professional Life and Jobs That Had Failed
Coco Chanel first started off as a shopkeeper, then she tried singing and dancing, when that had failed she meet a man and decided to make a career as a modiste. She soon meet another man and he helped her open up her first store in Paris.

Her mother past away when she was only 6 years old. Her father later ran off and left Chanel and her four siblings to fin for themselves on the streets. So they then went to live with their two aunts. There Chanel learned much that would later benefit her career.
While living with her aunt's she was taught how to have good manners and she was taught how to sew. As a young girl instead of playing with the dolls she spent a lot of time dressing them in dresses she had made from cloth.
When she was she was 17 she was sent to a orphanage and nuns toke over as her care givers. They supported Chanel and was looking for a local job to build her talents more, but she then left for the town in hopes to become a cabaret singer.
She got bored with that and took interest in sewing again. So with the help of a man she had meet she then opened up her own hat and dress shop in Paris. This was the start to her new career.
