History & Objective of Italian Day

Advantage:

Hosted near skytrain stations, 2 minuets walk.
Provide enough sunshade.
Good security
Police cars and ambulance are at the entrance.
The event was successfully organized, there were lots of people attended and everything had great set up. Also the great weather added bonus point.
In the 1940s and 50s, many Italian immigrants had made their home and established businesses in the Commercial Drive area. Between the 1940s – 1980s, Commercial Drive had developed into an Italian enclave, otherwise known as Little Italy.
