A wind instrument is a musical instrument that contains some type of resonator.
It is sounded by the breath of a person or other air current, like the trumpet.
A percussion instrument is a musical instrument that is sounded by being struck or scraped by a beater.
The percussion section of an orchestra contains instruments like: snare drum, bass drum, cymbals, triangle and tambourine.
