How To Set Goals Make sure to be clear and unambiguous. Be Specific! Measurable A measurable goal will usually answer:

How many?
How will I know when it is accomplished? Attainable Realistic
Not extreme
Neither out of reach nor
below standard performance Relevant
Does this seem worthwhile?
Is this the right time?
Does this match other efforts/needs? Time-Bound Ground goals within a time frame by giving them a target date. Set 3 goals for yourself using the "SMART" method Poorly written... Well written... “I'm going to try to
lift weights”. “I will bench press 5 reps of 200 lbs by the end of December.”
