Reflexive Verbs
A reflexive verb is used when the action reflects back the subject.

Reflexive pronouns are always
used with reflexive verbs
to put oneself to bed
to bathe (oneself)
to wake (oneself)up
to fall asleep
to shower (oneself)
To get (oneself)up
To dress (oneself)




Conjugating
When using reflexive verbs you
conjugate the same way as you
would with other verbs:

For example-
I get up
becomes
yo despierto
and
They wash
becomes e
llos lavamos
Conjugating Reflexive Verbs
1. Conjugate the verb (present, past etc)
2. Add the reflexive pronoun to the front of the verb
With 2 verbs, there are 2 options:
LAVARSE

1. I wash my face
2. I want to wash my face

Attach the reflexive pronoun to the infinitive verb (2nd verb)

Move the reflexive pronoun before the conjugated (1st) verb
