-Connecticut was founded Jan 9, 1788.
Connecticut's Early Years
The settlers landed at Windsor, Wethers -field, and Hartford.
The War For Connecticut Territory
For the English, only 2 people were killed, but 16 were wounded.
Deaths
About 5-6 hundred Native Americans were killed
After the War

- The capital of CT is Hartford.
-The state song is Yankee Doodle.
Mr. Winslow, governor of Plymouth, decided to head up to the river in Connecticut.
In 1637, the English started a war with the Native Americans.
For the Native Americans, hundreds were killed. There were no survivors.
Things were okay, and people joined together to survive.
The Terrain in Connecticut
The soil was amazing for growing food and crops, along with supplementing food and land for animals and housing.
People mostly lived near rivers, for easy water accessability.
