The Axis Powers!
by: Efrain S. they were made up of the following countries: Germany, italy, and Japan. The main axis countries were against the allied powers, which in 1940, the axis powers surrendered to the allied powers in France. The axis powers were very important to history and to us because they were like the "bad guys". They were our enemies, Germany killed over 17,000 people in the Holocaust. it was important to the War 'cause they were a good force, with stragetic team. They also had good weapons to fight back with. Germany, it was the most deadly army to cross Europe.
There was over 110,000 casualties in italy both from germany and allied powers. one by one the axis powers started surrendering to the allied powers, Japan was left alone fighting until they surrendered in september,2,1945. On May 7, 1945, seven days after Hitler committed suicide, Nazi Germany surrendered unconditionally to the Allies Italy surrendered on September 8, 1943, it was the first one to surrender.
