THE LION KING
Nala finds Simba and tells him he needs to return to Pride Rock to take his place as rightful king.
THE CALL TO ADVENTURE
Simba refuses to go back to Pride Land because he is unwilling to face his past.
THE REFUSAL OF THE CALL
Rafiki shows Simba that he is just like his Father, making him realize that his true place in life is to be king. Simba decides it is time for him to go home and take back what is his.
Meeting with the Mentor
Crossing the First Threshold
Simba, on his journey back to Pride Land has to travel across harsh terrain. More importantly, Simba realized what effect his absence had when he was gone as he walked through the remains of the Pride Land. Simba engages in a BROTHER BATTLE with Scar for dominance of the Pride.
Everything is back to normal, and Simba and Nala have a daughter who will one day continue the legacy.
Return with Elixir
Simba and Nala are friends who explore together despite Mufasa's warning.
Simba's world is shattered when Scar tells Simba that Mufasa's death is his fault and convinces Simba to run away.
The Ordinary World
Tests, Allies, and Enemies
The Road Back
Simba grows goes through survival with Timon and Pumaa, overcomes his shame of killing his father, and overcomes his fear of returning home.
The land is left in ash and ruin, but under Simba's rule, the land becomes green and full of life again. Simba has proven to be a good king, and the pride is strong again.

Scar and hyenas
As he makes his journey to Pride Rock, Simba realizes he is leaving behind his whole childhood and accepts that the kingdom is his responsibility and he must face his past.
Simba and his father survey the kingdom that will one day be Simba's to rule.
Simba learns to survive and grows up away from Pride Rock.
Simba learns that he is not resposible for his father's death and fights Scar for his rightful place on the throne.
Simba defeats Scar and gains acceptance from the pride. He takes his rightful place on the throne.
When the rain ends, Simba sees his father in the clouds. He knows he has done the right thing in coming back, and he is ready to take on the role of King and restore Pride Rock.
