FACT OR MYTH
Using index cards write down one statement you know or have heard about HIV or AIDS.

STI's- Also called STD's because sexually transmitted viruses and bacteria will cause infections.
5 Most common and well known and have the serious implications- all are health treats to young people regardless of age, race, gender, religion, or class.

What is HIV/AIDS and STI's?
Sexually transmitted infections are also called sexually transmitted diseases. (STD's) The newer term (STI) will be used throughout the next few days because viruses and bacteria cause infections.
