Both The cell membrane is one part of the animal cell it lets in nutrients. Reilley Phares & Serena Goode The cytoplasm contains primarily water and nutrients for the animal cell. Cell Membrane allows waste material to exit the cell. The ribosomes is were the protein synthesis takes place. Cell Wall provides structural support and to control the amount of water entering the cell. Golgi Body stores, packages, and distributes the lipids and proteins made in the endoplasmic reticulum. It puts proteins into packages, called vesicles. The lysosomes break down the old or unneeded parts of the cell. Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum synthesizes and exports proteins and glycoproteins. The endoplasmic reticulum is the series of interconnecting flatten tube like tunnels. The Golgi Apparatus packages waste chemicals to be more easily processed . Lysosomes digests things. Lysosomes can be used to digest food or break down the cell when it dies. The mitochondria is a large organelles where oxygen is combined with food . Nucleus is where ribosomes are made. Vacuole stores water, nutrients, and other substances that cannot be used right away. They are both cells. They both have 8 MAIN parts to them. Cytoplasm distributes oxygen and food (nutrients) to other parts of the cell and it supports all parts inside the cell. The dark blue part is the cytoplasm. Plant cells have a cell wall which provides structural support and to control the amount of water entering the cell. Plant cells have chloroplast where photosynthesis occurs. Both made out of organelles. Organelles are specialized parts of a cell that has its own function. Animal cells don't have a cell wall because the Cell Membrane takes its place making tissue flaccid. Animal Cells have lysosomes because they need it. Lysosomes break down food in the cell. Animal Cells can't make their own food because they don't have chlorophyl or food to make photosynthesis. Plant Cells don't need lysosomes because they make sugar and sugar does not need to be broken down and lysosomes are ment to break down food. Animal Cells do not have chloroplast because animal cells do not make their own food. Plant Cells have 8 main different parts that animal cells do not have. Animal Cells have 8 main different parts that plant cells do not have. Plant Cells Animal Cells The nucleus contains the genetic material for the cell for example it contains the DNA of the cell and the chromosomes. A vacuole is a membrane-bound sac that plays roles in intracellular digestion and the release of cellular waste products. Both cells have some of the same parts that are in the cells 8 main parts.
