LEADERSHIP GOES TO THE MOVIES ASSIGNMENT
Transcript of LEADERSHIP GOES TO THE MOVIES ASSIGNMENT
WHAT DOES LEADERSHIP SOUND LIKE? #2
I chose this clip from Pay it Forward because the teacher is telling the kids that anything is possible as long as you use your mind, and that you can do anything you'd like and I find that 100% true.
This clip relates to Leadership class because because all leaders want to see other people succeed in life just like that teacher wants to see his students succeed.

WHAT DOES LEADERSHIP LOOK LIKE #2
I chose this clip from the movie The Blind Side because
it shows that in order to inspire and motivate people you have to get it across in a way that is not antagonizing them. This way, it makes them truly believe that they can achieve these goals, making the success of the goals come faster.
It relates to leadership class by teachers and peers simply talking as a whole, instead of channeling out one specific person, trying to critique their weakness.

WHAT DOES LEADERHSHIP SOUNDS LIKE? #1
I chose this video because Obama is showing us that he is a leader that does not care about race and that he cares about coming together as one whole country. He shows us that no matter what race you are you still belong to America and I believe that is a very powerful leader speech.
This relates to leadership class because in leadership we all come together as one and break all the cliques down.
In this clip, Cinderella’s animal friends join forces to cheer up an overworked and under the weather Cinderella. Together they were able to flawlessly tailor a beautiful dress that enabled Cinderella to go to the ball and meet her prince. Because Cinderella is a kind and caring leader, her team is willing to go through loops and bounds to make her happy.
I chose this movie clip from Cinderella because it shows that even when bad things happen, good things can come out of it. It shows that you should never give up even if you think there is no hope.
This clip is related to Leadership class because we, as leaders, should take some time out of our day if we see one of our classmates feeling down or not having such a great day, and make them happy by doing something nice or words of encouragement!
I chose this clip from the movie Pursuit of Happiness because it lets people know that they can do whatever they want despite what anyone else tells them. Some people try and hold others back just because they didn't reach their own goal in life and this shows to keep going no matter what anyone says.
This clip relates to Leadership class because as a class we don't give up despite any problems within the school environment.
I chose this clip from Remember the Titans because it shows how people need to find their own success without it being handed to them, but with being guided by strong will. It also shows how people have to come together as a team in order to have the greatest success. When success is reached, it has a feeling that is unmeasurable and incomparable.
This relates to leadership class because we all learn and know that working as a team is mandatory for leadership in the school, community, and world.
