Transcript of Kombucha Making
What you'll need:
3 Quarts water
1 Cup sugar
7 Tea bags
1 Cup kombucha
brought to you by...
Giving Mama a Bath
Transfer cool tea to clean glass jar
Add "mama" S.C.O.B.Y. shiny side up
Growing a Baby
Add approx. 1 cup of kombucha
Cover tightly with paper towel/cloth
Let sit for about two weeks
Check each batch carefully
Bubbles, lumps, holes, brown gunk - OK
Fuzz, grey/blue growth - BAD
Boil water for 10 minutes
Stir in sugar (during boil)
Turn off heat and add tea bags
Steep (covered) at least 30 minutes
Let solution cool to room temp.

Remove both mama and baby
Strain tonic and enjoy!
Don't forget to save some for the next batch
