Tim Johnson The Begining of Jason Mraz Jason Mraz appeared on the music scene around the year 1999. Jason Mraz started his musical career by performing at various stores. He eventually landed a weekly slot at a hot-spot in San Diego, California Called Jave Joes. There he met drummer Toca Rivera, in whom he started playing live shows with as an acoustic player. Toca Rivera Mraz's Friend Toca Rivera which Jason has known since his beginning days can still be seen in many of Mraz's live shows. waiting for his rocket to come 2002- Waiting For My Rocket to Come Mraz's rocket finally came in 2002 with the release of his debut album, Waiting For My Rocket to Come. The album contained the fairly popular "Curbside Prophet", but the album was more well known for "The Remedy" which reached number 15 on the Billboard top 100, starting Jason Mraz on his way to fandom. 2005- Mr. A-Z Hi In 2005, Mraz came out with his second official album: Mr. A-Z. as the title suggests, Jason incorportated a lot of wordplay into the songs in his album, hence the name of one of the album hits: "Wordplay." The song that became a huge success, however was "Geek in the Pink." After a 2007 American Idol performance of the song by Chris Richardson, the song became well recognized, and reached #22 on the Itunes Store. The combination of Wordplay, Geek in the Pink, and the other songs on the album caused the start of Jason Mraz's real commerical success. We Sing,

We Steal Things hi In 2008, Jason came out with "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things." The album became his most popular so far, reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200. The album contained the hits Make it Mine, Lucky, and the most well-known song by Jason Mraz: I'm Yours. The Song reached 1 on the AAA radio charts in America, and reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. I'm Yours has since become Mraz's most popular song yet. hi 2010- Life is Good EP Not much is known about Jason Mraz's newest album released in late 2010 containing four new songs. He owns a cat named Holmes. Jason has an avocodo farm at his house in San Diego. The song "The Remedy" was written for his friend Charlie who was diagnosed with bone cancer. He is now cancer free. Jason Mraz Today Life is Good Jason spends currently spends most of his time traveling around the world either on tour or on vacation with his fiance Tristan Peterson.
Mraz has also hinted many times at a new album that could come out soon. Until then, he continues to spread his laid-back philosophy around the world with many live tours in countries around the globe with his trademark fedora hat. Mraz's Impact Jason Mraz has always had a major impact on the world, with his relaxed and thoughtful look on life. However, it is with his musical talent in which he gets his message through to the world; in hits such as "I'm Yours" or "The Remedy," that both capture the world's attention, and send a message through: a message of harmony, thoughtfulness, relaxation, and love which has become known as Jason Mraz's style.
