Joseph Stalin VS Adolf Hitler Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler were equally powerful rulers in the 1920's to 1940's, but they both were different in the sense of their rise to power, ruling styles, and the deaths they caused. Joseph Stalin's Rise to Power Joseph Stalin was born in Gorgi, Georgia Russia in 1879
He was the only child to survive after three others
He did well in school and earned a scholarship to a reform school
After school, he joined the Bolshevik Party and was deported to Siberia
He escaped
Lenin saw his accomplishments and invited him to Finland Early Politics During writing for Pravada Newspaper, He had to choose between his old beliefs or Lenin's beliefs
He chose to believe in Lenin
He was congratulated and was given the Commissioner of Nationalities
In 1922, he was made General Secretary of Lenin
After Lenin's death, Stalin was appointed the leader of the Soviet Union Adolf Hitler's Rise to Power Late Politics Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau-am- Inn in Austria in 1822
After the death of his mother, Hitler wanted to pursue his dream of becoming artist
He did not get a long-term job
Soon he was a poor man living on the streets

He became part of a group which stopped all soldiers from going to the Nazi or Pacifist groups Early Careers Late Careers and Politics After his volunteer time, he joined the German Workers Party
He soon became a wonderful leader due to his exquisite speech skills
It was soon renamed and was commonly called the Nazi Party
He ordered that they should take over the government by attacking a large beer hall, but he failed
Soon enough, Hitler had his chance to raise the popularity of the Nazi Party during the recession
When the populatrity rose, he ran against Hindenburg in the election, but he did not get the needed votes to win
Hitler's attempt lead to half the Cabinet in Germany to become Nazis
After Hindenburg died, Hitler was appointed Fuehrer Joseph Stalin's Ruling Styles and Death Tolls In earlier years, kulaks were in charge of all the production of food in Russia.
Stalin became furious at the kulaks due to their lack of feeding every mouth in Russia
All the kulaks were sent away to Siberia and all others against Stalin were also deported
As soon as the kulaks were gone, Stalin started a five year plan to modernize the industry
World War II began and Stalin made an agreement with Germany for peace
Hitler broke the treaty and Stalin began to fear for the country and the Red Army was soon trained to fight
In 1941, the war with Germany began and all generals who failed were executed In every attack against the Germans, a million soldiers were used
As attacks began to lead to Stalingrad, a city named after Stalin, the Russians used scorched earth policy and burned every city on the way to Stalingrad
The Nazi Troops were defeated in Stalingrad and victory was easy to obtain over Hitler
Stalin killed about 20 million people, both soldiers and citizens Adolf Hitler' Ruling Styles and Death Tolls Hitler began the Nazification of Germany and broke the Treaty of Versallies
While Nazificating, he declared that all Jewish people were not Germans and people
He decided to test his luck on the breaking of the treaty
France and Britan did not attack or told him to stop, so he kept on pushing his troops into France
After he placed troops in France, he began attacking all the countries and many fell
He began advancing on Russia and all the other Allies and was defeated in Russia and he fell to no one again
Hitler caused the deaths of over 50 million people, most of them were Jewish people and citizens "You know, to pass so quickly from an underground existence to power makes one dizzy." -Lenin "God gave the savior to the German people. We have faith, deep and unshakeable
