DREAMWORKS Interesting Fact: When has DreamWorks found success? What are the problems that DreamWorks encountered? There were two times when DreamWorks had been close to bankruptcy. Since DreamWorks came into bankruptcy almost three times, they made a deal with Viacom Paramount for financial support. What is important to DreamWorks? One of the very successful movies DreamWorks has animated is How to Train Your Dragon. How to Train Your Dragon was known as the Best Animated Feature Film of the Year and has also won the Annie Awards in 2011. This movie was directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders. Another reason why this movie was so successful is because it has received an overall mark of 98% from the U.S. critics. - All before 2004, DreamWorks has been a very successful individual industry financially

-In 1999-2001 , DreamWorks has won three Academy Awards for Best Picture
These three award-winning movies are:
1.American Beauty
2.Gladiator
3.A Beautiful Mind Also in order for their studio
to remain a success,
DreamWorks has joined with other studios later on so that they could make more money and better movies. In 2003, DreamWorks has suffered a $125 million loss on their animated movie, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. WHERE YOUR IMAGINATION COMES TO LIFE! They have also overestimated the DVD demand for Shrek 2. By. Sabreen and
Abeda How did DreamWorks solve their problems? Even in 2005, one of their movies called 'The Island' bombed off the Domestic Box Office, which means the movie was not successful and the critics didn't like it. But at the end of 2012, Paramount's deal to help DreamWorks expired...... So at the beginning of 2013, 20th Century Fox had been agreed to a deal to help. Now, 20th Century Fox handles the distribution on the new movie titles. Starting in 2006, DreamWorks and Paramount started making films together.

The company that we are representing is DreamWorks. DreamWorks is a filming production found by three men named Jeffrey Katzenburg, who was the ex-Chief Executive Officer of Disney Productions, David Geffen and Steven Speilburg. Introduction: The studio was officially found on October 12, 1994 All of the DreamWorks movies are rated G, this means that they are for people of all ages to watch. Every movie has a very strong and meaningful theme and/or moral behind it. At the beginning of their company, the DreamWorks founders were mostly focused on the animation department. This is why they quickly "greenlighted" their first two animated movies: 'Antz' and 'The Prince of Egypt'. So in December 2005, Paramount agreed to purchase the live studio, and the deal was valued at approximately $1.6 billion with $400 million to pay in debt. There were also many
other things that were important
to DreamWorks as in the media
like video games and music productions. They even focused on their film capabilities. Conclusion: Overall, DreamWorks was and is still trying their best to become an individual studio and make movies on their own. In our opinion, we think that all the movies DreamWorks has made are inspiring and impressing. We hope you learned many facts about DreamWorks! Now that you all know a lot about DreamWorks, you will remember how determined DreamWorks is to make every movie successful!!! THANK YOU!
