EDUCATION NEEDED:
4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of medical school and 3 to 8 years of internship and residency. Depending on the specialty selected.
PAY SCALE:
On an annual basis the average wage is $168,650. The lowest 10% earn $85,850 per yr, the upper 10% earn more than $187,000 per yr.
