Transcript of GRANITE ROCK

Granite rocks are igneous rocks which were formed by slowly cooling pockets of magma
the key to true granite is that it contains sizable amount of quartz. some people break granite rocks with quartz in it to make wristwatches with quartz in them.
granite has lots of materials and minerals it contains potassium feldspar, plagioclase, feldspar, quartz, and biotite.
what's in granite
granite is used for many thing it is used it used for wristwatches, counter tops, and houses just like this one
Granite is found in large plutons on the continents, in areas where the Earth's crust has been deeply eroded.
Where Is Granite Found
Granite Rock is not usually rare or valuable. Granite rock is valuable when it is rare, which depends on the color .
Is Granite rock valuable Or Rare
Granite Rocks has a lot of uses. Granite Rock can be used for building construction and used for great counter tops that are expensive.
Does Granite Have Other Uses?
Heat and pressure it makes Gnesis and weathering creates pebbles.
The Process In Which Granite Is Made
Granitic rock is widely distributed throughout the continental crust and is the mostly basement rock that underlies the relatively thin sedimentary veneer of the continents. Granite is an igneous rock and is formed from magma.
How Granite Is Formed
Origin geologists recognize that granite has several possible origins, depending upon the processes that operate on the rock systems. Some granites form (1) by magmatic processes, depending upon crystal settling and the order of crystallization of minerals from a magma (melted silicate rock), (2) by melting of sedimentary rocks whose chemical composition is the same as that in granite.
what is granite used for

there are many types of ganite rock this one type of granite rock
red royal granite
bright red granite
sabu granite
lakha granite
pink granite
black galaxy granite
The origin of granite is contentious and has led to varied schemes of classification. Classification schemes are regional and include French, British, and American sysiems.
