Some types of energy and natural resources that make electricity are oil, coal, wind, water, solar, geothermal, and natural gasses. Water can be used to create electricity by water flowing through a turbine then it spins, making a generator spin to make electricity.Natual gas is a fossil fuel that is burned to produce heat. Oil, coal, and fossil fuels come from dead plants and animals from millions of years ago. They are burned to produce heat. One problem these energy sources creates that fossil fuels pollute the air and can destroy the land and realese greenhouse gasses.
