(7-0 Start) Falcons started the 2012 season with a historic 7 win and 0 loss start. This is the first time in franchise history that they started the season with this type of record. They will have a chance to continue this streak this Sunday at 8:30pm against the Dallas Cowboys. This will be a tough task because the Cowboys have a perfect 3-0 record since 2004 beating undefeated teams. 2012 Season

Line Backer: Sean Weatherspoon #65 NOTABLE PEOPLE The 2010 seaon was the 45th season for the franchise. They started out with a loss to the Steelers, but then they ended with had a 13 win and 3 loss season and won their first NFC South title since 2004. They had a bye in the first round of playoffs, but eventually fell short to the Green Bay Packers. The Packers went on to be the Super Bowl XLV Champions. The Falcons scored a total of 414 points and only allowed 288 points in the 2010 season. 2010 Season Before we talk about this historic season, lets take a quick look at the seasons leading up to this one. 2011 Season The Falcons had their 46th season this season. They finished their season with a 10-6 season, and had a #5 seed going into the playoffs. They were one and done in the playoffs against the New York Giants. The Giant went on to win the Super Bowl. This was the Falcons second season in a row with at least 10 wins.
